Our condolences to the family & friends of Doug Alliger (
link to obituary)on his passing on Feb 1, 2021. Doug was a former member of the OBC and avid collector in many areas. His wife wanted you to know that The American Glass gallery has been assigned his whole collection for action in November. Doug had a collection which include two 27 swirl Zanesville , hand blown bottles like the one in the New York Museum of Art, an apple demi john early 1900 plus earlier hand blown demi johns , three miniature 3inch high and one inch wide hand blown bottles very small and unique and one prized purchase from John was a rare amber round milk bowl maybe 5 inches high and 4 inches wide. The collection also included colorful documented witch balls. A link will follow when available.

Link to the history at FOHBC Virtual Museum.
