The Washington Spring bottle from Ballston Spa, N.Y., with the pictorial George Washington embossing, is an exciting and historically significant bottle cherished by collectors as Washington actually visited the region and the springs. See in the FOHBC Virtual Museum Spring & Mineral Water Gallery. The bottle is an image donation from Ohio Bottle Club member Dave Merker. Click on the “Read More” for a link to the historical notes.

Kent, Ohio Molded Bowl
This beautiful Kent 20-Rib Pattern Molded Bowl in green aquamarine reminds me of “Altoids Wintergreen Mint.” Recently added to the 3rd floor FOHBC Virtual Museum Free Blown & Pattern Molded Gallery – Tableware Room. The bowl is from the ex-Darl Fifer collection. Visit the FOHBC Virtual Museum for free. Click on “Read More’ for a link to the Virtual Museum.
We are back
The Ohio Bottle Club officially opened for business. The May 27th meeting was attended by 20 members at the Eagles in Wadsworth. The highlights included 8 members contributing in a “Show and Tell” and a very active business meeting. Next month we are planning a program, our very popular “Best of” returns, and a refreshment break (banana splits). Plan to attend. Click on “Read More” for pictures.
FOHBC National at Syracuse cancelled
The FOHBC Board had a conference call earlier this evening (o2 June 2021) and decided to cancel the FOHBC 2021 Syracuse National Bottle Show. Unfortunately, the dark cloud of the Pandemic resulted in less than stellar sales and commitments to attend. Please contact the show chairs with any questions.
