Mansfield Update

Attached is the 2026 Mansfield flier and contract. All contracts have gone out to my dealer mailing list as of this evening.
It is worth mentioning that I have a room block set up at the Hampton Inn as I usually do, but also at the Holiday Inn Express this year! Both room blocks expire 4/8/26, so reservations need to be made by then. Mansfield Contract.          Flyer
Thanks so much!

Jeff Wichmann passing

FOHBC “It is with a heavy heart that we learned of the passing of Jeff Wichmann a few days ago. Jeff was a fantastic supporter of the Federation and the Virtual Museum. Jeff was also a life member as well as a member of the Hall of Fame. He also served on the Board of Directors for several years. Jeff’s American Bottle Auctions was always a welcome place to purchase quality bottles. Jeff’s book “The Best of the West-Antique Western Bitter Bottles is a valuable addition for any collector of that genre. His vast knowledge will be missed as will his friendship and continued support of the Federation and all bottle collectors in general.”

Another Legend of the bottle hobby gone!

Joe Coulson, “We are very sad to report the loss of another precious club member. I was informed yesterday evening while traveling about the passing of our dear friend and long-time club supporter Marty Troxell. Marty was a wise businessman and collector. Early on he knew the jar hobby needed to embrace social media to connect with more people and broaden our horizon. He was instrumental in creating and running the Ball Jar Collectors group on Facebook, and he was the pioneer behind our club’s Facebook group here as well (Midwest Antique Fruit Jar & Bottle Club). Marty also actively participated and supported our club’s online virtual meetings which started a few months ago.”

Another Loss to our Hobby
