The Museum of American Glass in West Virginia

With over 15,000 objects on display featuring dozens of American manufacturers from 1860 to present, the museum has a special focus on 1900 to 1960 when American handmade glass boomed. There is an almost endless variety of patterns, colors, and forms.  Come see everything from early glass bottles to lightning rod balls, from telegraph insulators to glass used in automobiles, from tableware for everyday use to the most elegant hand cut, etched and decorated.
