Mansfield is history!
185 inside tables greeted the Mansfield attendees. Elizabeth Lacy was able to reconfigure the show into one building. The new format was actually good for both dealers and the general public.
Mansfield is near!
We are two weeks from Mansfield. We need Mansfield to be successful and we need your help to make it a success! We need gate help, information table help and Friday night dinner help.
The Mansfield dinner will need additional help. Half of the dynamic duo of Lindsay Fifer and Elizabeth Lacy will probably be unavailable. We need members to step up and replace all the hours of preparation. Please contact Matt or Louis.
Use your cell phone to take pictures at Mansfield mostly with individuals. It is a great opportunity to showcase our shows and our club. Send them to me by either email or as a text. Download the contract.

Spring is right around the corner, which means it is almost Mansfield Bottle Show season! The Mansfield Bottle Show is May 10th and 11th this year, and will be here before we know it. As always, we appreciate the help from the Ohio Bottle volunteers in different aspects of the show! A sign-up sheet will be circulating at the upcoming meetings starting in February. Areas of need for the 2019 show are to have club members take shifts at the Welcome Table in Fairhaven Hall, the Front Gate, and to assist with set-up and clean-up of the Dealer Dinner Friday night. Club Auction
This month on Thursday Feb 28th at 7 PM is the club auction. Wilbur Bower’s collection of OBC Swirl Bottles and other OBC items will be featured. See “Read More” for more pictures. Seventeen picture, but there will be more not pictured. Pass the work to others that may not be as computer aware.
Columbus 2019
What a great time as bottle collectors gather for a Saturday evening hospitality and a Sunday Bottle Show. Weather cooperated until about 2 PM on Sunday, when the snow arrived. The show is now at 80 tables strong. See all the pictures by clicking on “Read More”.

Mary Ballentine passing
It is with great sadness that the OBC must announce the passing of Mary Ballentine this morning. Mary was a great friend to the Ohio Bottle Club and the bottle hobby. Mary was a fixture at Mansfield setting up next to the Koch’s and Bartley’s. We will update this Post as more information becomes available.
Meeting January 31st
The meeting will proceed as scheduled. Please don’t come to the meeting if the bitter cold weather is a concern. The roads should be dry and snow free.
January Meeting
Don’t miss the January 31st meeting. Program is Cleveland 2018 revisited, refreshment break will feature cakes and new addition to the meeting is “What is it?”. Bring an item that you need help identifying or an item to stump the membership. the item doesn’t have to be a bottle or bottle related. Should be lost of fun. Don’t forget to download your Mansfield contract.
OBC Bottle Shows
Mark your calendars and complete your contracts for the May 11th OBC sponsored Mansfield Antique Bottle Show and Sale. Also September 29th as the OBC fall show returns to a much larger facility. John and Louis Fifer announced the change at the December meeting. Room to expand and a place for displays. More information to follow.
