The July meeting will begin with a picnic. Fried chicken will be furnished by the club. Members need to bring a covered dish to share. Remember, the FOHBC National Show is in Chattanooga August 1st and 2nd. Many OBC members will be in attendance. It is not too late to make plans for Richfield. Plan to display or set up as a dealer.

June Meeting, “Color is King”
The June meeting of the Ohio Bottle Club is scheduled for June 25th. The program will feature “Color is King”. Bring in your most colorful items to share with the members. It should be an exciting program with many rare and colorful bottles. Refreshments will be banana splits. As always, everyone is welcome.
Ohio Brick Book
Once again Don Dzuro has completed a historic accomplishment with his Ohio Brick Book, 2015 Edition. With approximately 424 pages, 2353 entries, plus updated Ohio Brick Makers, both manufacturers and individuals, Don has added the Ohio Brick Book to his other two books.
Displays added to Richfield
A room for displays has been added to the Richfield Antique Bottle Show and Sale on September 13th. Great news! Once again the Ohio Bottle Club will feature displays at their fall show. Please contact Louis Fifer to display. Contracts should be mailed shortly.

Mansfield 2015
The weather was great for the 37th annual Mansfield Bottle Show. The dealers and early admissions enjoyed a great (but late) meal on Friday night. A fatal crash on 71 South closed the freeway for 5 hours with our caterers caught in the mess. About 200 braved the delay and shared the company of friends.
April Meeting featuring Advertising
Join us on April 30th for our “Advertising” program. Bring some great examples to share. It is also cupcake month. Don’t forget Mansfield is less than two weeks away. I could use some members to contribute by taking some great pictures.
Mansfield 2015
Mansfield 2015 is just around the corner with less than 3 weeks to go until show time. We are well over the 200 table mark with contracts and phone calls pouring in daily for both tables and early admission. Louis Fifer was named the FOHBC Conventions Director. He joins 3 other Ohio Bottle Club members that are serving on the FOHBC Board of Directors; Ron Hands is the Southern Region Director, Matt Lacy is the Midwest Region Director and Gary Beatty is the Treasurer.

The Ohio Bottle Club wishes all a Happy Easter. Check out all the bottle and insulator shows on the OBC “Bottle Shows” tab at the top of the website. Only about a month till Mansfield. I’m placing an order for shirts early next week.
March Meeting
Thanks for all those that contributed at the February meeting with their “Presidential” items. It was amazing the variety of collectibles. This month is “Anything But Bottles”. We need participants to share their collections. I purchased the SVGA projector. I have had some interest in members donating to cover the cost. Any donation would be appreciated. My plans are to use the projector at each meeting starting with March. Mansfield is coming
February OBC meeting
This month is Presidential theme month. Please share anything that is patriotic. Be creative as you look at your treasurers. We need at least 10 members to share. The image is a Cleveland Cycles vintage clock with an American flag from Sears.
January Meeting
Please make 2015 the year that you share your talents to make the OBC bigger and better. Bring in your best acquisition(s) from 2014. Bring in one, two or more items that you just had to have. Items don’t need to be expensive to be treasures. Most everyone made at least one found treasure this last year. Make this the year that you share. No voting, just sharing.
