RIP Jeff (Froggy) Burkhardt
It is with great sadness that the Ohio Bottle Club announces the passing of Jeff (Froggy) Burkhardt. Jeff was a premier Bitters collector and a regular dealer at the Mansfield Bottle Show. He will be missed.

Columbus Bottle Show 2026
The Columbus Bottle Show has just released their flyer for the 2026 year. The show will be on Sunday, March 1st, 2026 at a new location. The new location is at the Franklin County Fairgrounds. Click on the link for a copy of the flyer.

Once again, there are scam emails going out with officers and other OBC members needing important bills that need to be paid. Total scam! Clubs don’t work that way.
Jack Sullivan ‘s passing
It is with great sadness that the OBC must announce the passing of FOHBC Hall of Famer and Ohio Bottle Club friend. For so many years Jack contributed to the Swirl with his interesting articles. The Ohio gang would meet Jack every year at the Baltimore Bottle Show. Originally a friend of Tim Kearns, he soon was just one of us crazy Ohioians. He traveled to FOHBC National Shows, and we did the town. What an interesting man, Memphis, Louisville & others. I had my own travel guide. Jack’s Obituary. See “Read More” for additional Websites.

OBC meetings
The OBC meetings are filled with visiting, sharing and entertainment. The March meeting featured a contemporary face jug pottery program by VP Ken Arthur. Ken wrote an excellant article which will be printed in the OBC Swirl. April’s program is early dinnerware by Bob Korean. Early Ohio glass will be featured.
