I have added 2 show to the list of spring bottle shows in the state of Ohio. In addition to Joe Hardin’s new Willmington Show and the Mansfield Show, the Central Ohio Bottle Club has decided to fill the void in Columbus with a Columbus Bottle Show on Feb 8, 2015. The Ohio Valley Bottle Club will have their show in St. Clairsville on April 11, 2015. Plan to support all 4 shows.
Columbus Show 2015 News
I wanted to announce some exciting show news for 2015. Jamie and I will be moving our Columbus show to the Roberts Centre in Wilmington in 2015. Show date is Sunday March 22. Contracts will be sent out soon. The Roberts Centre was the location for the 2010 FOHBC National show that featured nearly 300 tables.October Auctions
Two auctions highlight October. The North American Glass auction and the American Glass Gallery. The North American Glass auction is now open and features 393 fruit jars, 13 flasks, 17 bitters and more. John Pastor’s American Glass Gallery opens on October 15th with some outstanding items. Pole Top Discoveries Auction
The first of two insulator auctions conducted by Pole Top Discoveries this fall is now under way. No bottles or jars this time, but there will be some in our next auction, later this fall.
Insulator Show September 27
Start off this September’s “Collector’s Weekend in Richfield, Ohio” by participating in the Western Reserve Insulator Club’s 4th Annual “Octoberfest” show starting at 10am on Saturday, September 27th at the historic Richfield Masonic Hall. The venue will include a great lunch featuring bratwurst and (root)beer.
FOHBC Awards
The Ohio Bottle Club received four of the possible seven writers awards at the FOHBC banquet held in Lexington, KY at the Federation of Historical Bottle Collectors National Show.

OBC was well represented at the FOHBC National Convention in Lexington Kentucky. Matt Lacy and family were among the many Ohio bottle collectors that attended the show.
