The addition of Bottles & Jars was made to our Fall Auction this morning. Although a small grouping, there may be something of interest. Check it out now! The INSULATOR portion of the Auction will employ Call Backs after the first phase of the sale closes on Tuesday, September 19th at 10 P.M. Eastern time. FOHBC National in Cleveland
It is our turn to step up and make the FOHBC National in Cleveland for 2018 a success. We need OBC members to work the event and spread the word. A FOHBC National is so exciting with events for every age level. There will be activities for families. Milk Bottle Auctions
Two OBC members have announced auctions. Ross Oehling is having an auction on August 17th with 300-400 milk bottles (mostly Ohio) and other collectibles. Click on the link for more information. Ross Oehling Auction. A second auction will be held in September. Sue McFadden wrote me about the auction….it will be held on September 23, 2017. We’ll be having it at the Kaufman Reality & Auctions in Sugarcreek. The address there is 1047 West Main Street, Sugarcreek, OH. The web site is www.kaufmanrealty.com. We’ve spent a couple of days taking pictures of the milk bottles and the “go withs” that will be auctioned. The bottles being offered are from the counties of Stark, Ashland, Wayne, Holmes, Tuscarawas, Knox, and Coshocton. Stay turned for more on Sue’s auction.

The Glass Works Auction has announced the long anticipated “Watson 1” auction. A nice selection of bottles from the late Dick Watson will be at auction as part of the FOHBC National in Springfield MA and scheduled for live auction August 5th, 9 am. Online bidding is available at “Watson1”.

Hartville Dates
The Ohio Bottle Club will be at the Hartville Flea Market on the second Saturday of the month. Expect the OBC to be set up on July 8th and August 12th. Bring your bottles to be appraised and questions to be answered.
Hartville June 24th
The OBC filled 8 spaces at the Hartville Flea Market this last Saturday as members invaded this popular venue. We answered questions, sold bottles, and bottle books as we expand our presence in Ohio. The Ohio Bottle Club banners greeted the customers. Extra Swirls were handed out to those interested in the club. Great OBC outing! Jerry Tebbano, Adam Koch, John Fifer, Lindsey and Louis Fifer, Bo & Twinkle Sullivan and Al DeMaison enjoyed almost perfect weather this last Saturday. See the “Read More” for pictures.
