Hartville Flea Market
The Ohio Bottle Club will have a presence at the Hartville Flea Market on Saturday June 24th. Adam Koch, John Fifer, Louis Fifer and Alan DeMaison will bring a good variety of fruit jars, flasks and other bottles to sell and answer your questions about the Club and old bottles. West Virginia Bottle Show
The Museum of American Glass in Weston, WV announced their 11th annual Bottle, Fruit Jar, Insulator, and Table Top Antique Show/Sale for Saturday, June 24th. First table is free and second is only $5. See flyer for all the details.

Insulator Show
The Insulator Collectors of America – 2017 EXPO will be held June 23 & 24 at the Washington County Fairgrounds in Washington, Pennsylvania. Hosted by the Western Reserve Insulator Club, the show venue will include sales tables of vintage communication & power insulators, antique bottles and related collectibles, as well as educational seminars & displays. Friday early show admission (2-day pass) from 3pm-6pm is $10, and Saturday general show admission from 9am-3pm is $3. The adjacent PA Trolley Museum will be open to the public and will hold its annual Parade of Trolleys on Saturday. Once again Ohio was treated with a great Mansfield Bottle Show and Sale. Co-chairman Louis Fifer and Matt Lacy made us all proud. Sales tables were up with many offerings. Please read Jim Benders article on Mansfield on the FOHBC website with many Mansfield pictures. Jim Bender is Co-chairman of the FOHBC National in Springfield, MA. Many OBC members will be attending that show. Don’t forget the FOHBC National for 2018 is in Cleveland.

HUFFSEY” Historical Calabash, probably Milford Glass Works, Milford, NJ, 1852 – 1860. Dark olive green and #170, “MASON’S / PATENT / NOV. 30TH / 1858”, Clayton Bros Glass Works, Clayton, NJ, 1880 – 1995. Medium to deep cobalt blue. Both are exceptional examples. Mansfield on Friday, Saturday
It has finally arrived, the Mansfield Bottle Show and Sale. Friday opens the show with dealer set up and early admission from 3 to 6 pm. The famous Mansfield dinner follows at 6 pm with lots of friends dining together and sharing stories. Saturday is regular admission starting at 9 am. Don’t miss the opportunity.
Betty Bowman passing
Long time club member Betty Bowman has passed away at the age of 95. Betty and her husband Ralph were long time fixtures at every OBC meeting during the 80’s, 90’s and well into the 2000’s. Betty served as Secretary. Link to Betty’s obituary.

Mansfield Antique Bottle Show & Sale
The Mansfield Antique Bottle Show and Sale is just a few short weeks away. Excitement is building as contracts are pouring in. Still a few dealer spaces, contact Matt. North American Glass Auction
The Spring Auction opens for on-line bidding on Monday, April 17th at 6 pm EST. This sale will feature quality items from the 40-year collection of Mr Jan Hall of Red Lion, PA. Also the collection of the late Mike Jordan from Ocala, Florida. This auction includes 427 lots in 12 categories, with something of interest for everyone, with bottles, jars, flasks, stoneware, Terre Haute items and more selections from a large collection of tobacco, cigar, and snuff jars. The closing date is Thursday April 27th.
