It is with great sorrow that the OBC announces George E. Brewster, age 82, of Russell Twp., passed away June 9, 2022. Born March 27, 1940 in Cleveland, he was a longtime resident of Geauga County. George was a proud graduate of Euclid High School and the Cleveland Institute of Art, and went on to work as a Commercial Artist for many years. He was a U.S. Army Veteran and a member of Fellowship Bible Church in Bainbridge Twp. George’s participation within the church and his Christian faith were very important parts of his life. He was also a member of the Ohio Bottle Club, regularly collecting antique medicine bottles to add to his bottle collection. George was an avid outdoorsman and loved working within nature, and was often found riding on and maintaining his 1953 Ford tractor.
