This is the first of a series of auctions of items from the Dick and Elma Watson Collection.
This Saturday! Getting ready for the Western Reserve Insulator Club’s Allegheny Valley Insulator Show coming up this Saturday, July 13th, in West Leechburg, PA, which is northeast of Pittsburgh and is accessible via the Pennsylvania Turnpike. The show hosts and club officers invite collectors and future collectors to join in the camaraderie at the spacious and well-lit indoor venue, as dealers from several states will be offering a variety of insulators and go-withs for your collecting interests.
The 51st OBC Fall Bottle Show is scheduled for Saturday, August 31. Mark your calendars.
We will be auctioning selections of long time Ohio collector Larry Henschen of Springfield. Larry collected bottles and jars for over 50 years compiling a collection of outstanding fruit Jars, many featuring rare original closures. Link to the auction.

The heart and soul of the early OBC club, Bill Koster has passed away. “The first meeting was June, 1968 at the Barberton YMCA on 2nd Street. Founding members were Bill Krites, Diane Krites, Ralph Bowman, Reid Witman, Peggy Witman, Ralph Bond, Alan Easterday, Frank Salzwimmer, and Bill Koster.” The obituary and link to the funeral home is in the “Read More”. A private service for the family is planned.
